Susan Kihika, the first female Governor of Nakuru County, has redefined leadership through bold, people-centered governance. Her tenure is marked by transformative programs in agriculture, infrastructure, health, education, and economic empowerment. From launching the Wezesha Biashara Fund and expanding bursaries, to upgrading hospitals and rural roads, Kihika has prioritized inclusive development. Her Lishe na Mama Uji Program is tackling child malnutrition while supporting ECDE enrollment. Thousands of farmers have received avocado seedlings, livestock, and training under her watch. Passionate about youth and women empowerment, Governor Kihika continues to deliver impactful, grassroots-driven solutions positioning Nakuru as a model of progress and opportunity.
