Connecting Communities and Enhancing Tourism Potential

In a collaborative effort between the Nakuru County Government and area MCA Hon. Michael Gathanwa, the grading of two vital roads is underway in Kasambara, Eburru-Baruk Ward in Gilgil Sub-county. These projects will significantly improve connectivity and accessibility for residents.

One of these projects involves the rehabilitation of the 1.6-kilometer Kasambara – Rain Valley Hospital road, situated in Kasambara Village. The work encompasses grading, graveling, and dozing of the stretch, ensuring year-round maintenance and making it easier for the community to move around.

Simultaneously, the grading of Mtoni Road is being executed as part of the Imarisha Barabara program. This initiative underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing road infrastructure across the county to meet the diverse needs of its residents.

Upon completion, these upgraded roads will not only serve the local community but also contribute to the area’s tourism potential. Better access to resorts, guesthouses, and other attractions will undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for residents and visitors alike.
