Nakuru County Healthcare Heroes

On this special Jamhuri Day, our hearts resonate with gratitude as we extend sincere appreciation to the healthcare heroes of Nakuru County. Amidst the jubilant festivities, Roselyn Mungai, the County Executive Committee Member for Health, chose to take a meaningful detour, joining the dedicated healthcare team at Lanet Health Centre.

Mungai’s supportive visit not only symbolized solidarity but also amplified the spirit of collaboration within the healthcare community. Even during the celebrations, the healthcare team at Lanet Health Centre continued to deliver essential services, showcasing their unwavering commitment to the well-being of the community.

Lanet Health Centre stands as a beacon of community health, providing crucial services to over 26,000 residents within its catchment. This Jamhuri Day, we celebrate the seasoned expertise of Edwin Chirchir, a midwife nurse at the centre, whose infectious passion for aiding mothers during childbirth brings joy to countless families.

In acknowledging the efforts of the healthcare team, Mungai stated, “Our health workers embody Governor Susan Kihika’s commitment to improved service delivery.” This sentiment underscores the dedication of these heroes and reflects the county’s overarching commitment to elevating healthcare standards for its residents.
