Nessuit area in Njoro that was recently hit by tribal clashes will soon get a primary school to signify everlasting peace.
The school that will be named Amani primary will be built on land donated to the community by former MP Dixon Kihika Kimani.
Addressing a peace meeting held at Nessuit on Saturday afternoon, Nakuru senator Susan Kihika and area MP Charity Chepkwony have promised that the construction of the school will be their responsibility.
Senator Kihika while addressing the residents called on them to continue upholding peace and continue living together as brothers.
The victims of the clashes have received food, blankets and roofing sheets from the National government which the two leaders delivered.
In addition, the senator has promised that next week, the victims would receive food items, mattresses and blankets from the National government to assist them to get back to their normal lives.
