Kiptororo Level 4 Hospital under construction

Kuresoi North residents are set to benefit from improved healthcare services as the construction of the region’s Level 4 hospital continues to take shape. The Kiptororo Level 4 Hospital, spearheaded by the Nakuru County Government under the leadership of Governor Susan Kihika, is expected to significantly enhance medical services for the local community.

Despite demolishing the old health centre to pave the way for the new facility, outpatient services remain uninterrupted. Healthcare workers have been relocated to a temporary setup at the staff quarters, ensuring continued access to essential medical care. Additionally, the maternity unit continues to function, handling an average of 30 deliveries per month.

Speaking during a site visit, County Executive Committee Member for Health, Roselyn Mungai, reaffirmed the county’s commitment to expanding healthcare infrastructure. She emphasized that once completed, the hospital will ease the burden on residents who currently travel long distances for specialized treatment.

Governor Kihika’s administration remains focused on ensuring accessible and high-quality healthcare services across Nakuru County. The ongoing construction of the Level 4 hospital in Kuresoi North is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the county’s healthcare system and improve service delivery to its residents.
