The County Executive Committee Member for Youth, Sports, Gender, and Social Services, Josephine Atieno, joined London Ward MCA, Hon. Bernard Maina Gatuso, in distributing sports equipment to various community groups in the ward. The distribution, organized by the MCA’s office, included items such as volleyballs, darts, and basketballs meant to promote sports development in the ward.
The beneficiary groups included Kirima Darts Club, Jacaranda Darts Club, London Kobil Darts Club, PCEA male and female teams, Prison male and female teams, London Hill male and female teams, and Victory Baptist for basketball. Hon. Gatuso encouraged all teams within London Ward to collaborate with his office to enhance sports activities and development in the area.
Ms. Atieno reaffirmed the department’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talent across Nakuru County, emphasizing the importance of a smooth working relationship with the County Assembly leadership in driving such initiatives.
