In a move to enhance healthcare services and ensure better service delivery, a delegation from the County Government of Nakuru toured Kabazi Level 4 Hospital, focusing on key infrastructural and youth empowerment initiatives.
During the visit, officials agreed on the urgent revival of the Kabazi Youth Centre, an initiative aimed at equipping young people with essential skills to empower them for personal growth and meaningful community engagement.
The team also inspected the construction of a new oxygen plant, which will significantly boost the hospital’s capacity to provide life-saving medical care, particularly for patients in critical condition who require oxygen support.
The delegation was led by County Executive Committee Members Roselyn Mungai (Health), Eng. Michael Kamau (Infrastructure) accompanied by Chief Officers Gladys Kamuren (Gender, Social Services, and Inclusivity) and Catherine Changwony (ICT).
The County Government remains committed to expanding access to quality healthcare and supporting youth empowerment initiatives for sustainable community development.
