Department of Water and Sanitation Engages Water Engineers and Officers for Progress Review and Performance Appraisal



The Department of Water and Sanitation, under the leadership of Eng Margaret Kinyanjui, convened a crucial meeting with water engineers and officers from all 11 sub-counties. The agenda centered on the progress of implementing the Water and Sanitation workplan for the fiscal year 2023/2024, as well as addressing challenges hindering the successful execution of projects. Additionally, a mid-year review of staff performance appraisals for the year 2023/24 was conducted, alongside a contract performance review within the Directorate of Water and Sanitation.

Contract performance review is an integral aspect of contract negotiations, facilitating the monitoring of progress and ensuring the quality of work. It provides an opportunity to reflect on past achievements, identify areas for improvement, and set goals for the future.

During the meeting, the Chief Officer commended the dedication and attention to detail exhibited by the attendees. She noted that their commitment to excellence is evident in the high-quality work consistently delivered, which significantly contributes to the success of water projects across Nakuru County.

The presence of Director Johnson Kamau and other departmental officers underscored the importance of the meeting and the collective effort towards enhancing water and sanitation services within the county.
