Gilgil Municipal Board Spreads Christmas Joy to Elderly and PWDs

In the true spirit of the festive season, the Ag. Gilgil Board Manager, Benson Kipenju, orchestrated a Christmas food drive for the elderly and People With Disabilities (PWD) in the Gilgil area. Joined by Municipal Board Members and various stakeholders, this initiative aimed to bring joy and warmth to over 200 residents from different wards in Gilgil.

Addressing the gathered residents, Mr. Kipenju not only emphasized the significance of the Christmas food drive but also highlighted Governor Susan Kihika’s unwavering commitment to operationalizing Gilgil as a fully-fledged municipality. “Gilgil is poised for an uplift, especially with the upcoming second phase of the Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP) and the Kenya Informal Settlement Improvement Project (KISP),” Mr. Kipenju remarked.
