In the aftermath of the tragic road accident at Eveready last Sunday, Governor Susan Kihika has fulfilled her earlier promise of support.
This evening, a delegation from the Governor’s office, led by Hon. Francis Njoroge, extended the Governor’s condolences to the family of the late Grace Waithira Kamau. Grace, one of the accident victims, will be laid to rest tomorrow. The Governor, true to her commitment, provided a compassionate contribution to assist the family in their burial preparations. This aid supplements the mortuary and postmortem waivers previously granted to the families who lost their loved ones.
Speaking to the mourners, Hon. Njoroge conveyed the Governor’s heartfelt condolences and expressed appreciation to the community and the church for their unwavering support.
The family and the community have conveyed their deep appreciation to Governor Susan Kihika for standing with them during this trying time. Accompanying the Governor’s representatives was area MCA Hon. Alex Lang’at, who continues to offer support to the affected families, many of whom are from his ward.
The Governor’s office remains committed to visiting the other families who lost their loved ones in the coming days.
