In a heartfelt gesture, Peter Kangethe from the Political Affairs Office, representing Governor Susan Kihika, stepped in to support the family of Virginia Wanjiru Gathu in Maiella Ward. The family had been facing severe financial challenges, which led to the unfortunate dropout of her three children from school.
Recognizing the urgency of their situation, the Maiella Ward leadership, in collaboration with the Governor’s office, organized an impromptu fundraising event. The initiative aimed to alleviate the family’s immediate hardships and ensure the children could return to school. In addition to the financial support, the Governor’s Office provided essential supplies to help the family through this difficult period.
