Roselyn Mungai, the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Health in Nakuru, has initiated a comprehensive familiarization tour of health facilities throughout the county. This series of foundational engagements aims to provide the new CECM with insights into various health service delivery issues.
Starting the tour on Monday, Mungai visited several facilities, including Naivasha Sub-county Hospital, Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital (NCTRH), Bahati Sub-county Hospital, Engashura Health Centre, Menengai Crater Dispensary, and Molo Sub County Hospital. The visits involve briefings from the Department and discussions with health managers and stakeholders.
The hands-on approach adopted by Mungai is designed to streamline processes and elevate the quality of care provided across all levels of health services in Nakuru County. These efforts align with Governor Susan Kihika’s unwavering commitment to addressing the health needs of Nakuru residents effectively.
Mungai’s consultations during the familiarization tour are a strategic move towards realizing the Governor’s vision for improved health services. This initiative underscores Nakuru County’s dedication to enhancing the overall health and well-being of its residents.
