The Imarisha Barabara program in Nakuru County continues to make significant strides in the effective maintenance and rehabilitation of rural roads, positively impacting remote corners of the county. The newly rehabilitated roads play a crucial role in connecting formerly isolated areas, promoting economic activity, and providing safer and swifter transportation of agricultural inputs and produce.

Ongoing projects include the grading of the 6.56km pipeline access roads, grading and gravelling of roads in Kasambara, grading, gravelling, and compacting of the 5.3km roads in Hells Gate Ward, grading of the Irongo road in Kiptagich Ward, and grading of the 5.7km roads in Maiella. These efforts aim to improve accessibility, facilitate economic growth, and enhance the overall well-being of rural communities.

A well-structured work plan has been devised to ensure the quality performance and durability requirements of the road program. This plan establishes a scope baseline and timeline, facilitating the smooth transition of the project from one ward to another.
