Governor Susan Kihika’s unwavering commitment to community-driven and effective healthcare governance is being actualized through the certification of the third cluster of Health Facility Management Committees (HFMC). Today, certified training was conducted, led by trainers, empowering Olenguruone Sub-county Hospital and Keringet Level Four Hospital Committees with advanced skills to actively contribute to shaping local healthcare decisions.
The induction process was spearheaded by Dr. Joy Mugambi, the County Director for Health Administration and Planning, along with Dominic Mburu, the County Health Administrative Officer. The comprehensive training aims to equip these committees with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance healthcare management at the primary level. This initiative reflects Nakuru County’s dedication to fostering community ownership and effective governance in the healthcare sector.
