Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has struck a deal with ElsMed Healthcare on improving healthcare in the County. This follows a meeting with ElsMed Healthcare Chief Executive Officer Yaren Farachi and the team.
The discussion with the ElsMed CEO centred around Medical Diagnostics and Information technology among other health services.
“We spoke on a possible partnership to upgrade medical diagnostics, IT infrastructure and other health services in Nakuru County,” said the Governor.
The proposed partnership includes; the automation of laboratory information and inventory management systems, telemedicine, a simulation centre to curb maternal mortality rate and specialized clinics for diabetes and hypertension.
The partnership intends to amplify the accessibility and affordability of primary health care to the people of Nakuru County.
