Alex Maina, the County Chief Officer for Youth, Talent, and Sports, spearheaded a sports equipment distribution initiative in London Ward, Nakuru Town West Sub-county.
Seven teams, including Ignite Youth Sketters and Badminton, Kirima Darts, PCEA Women/Men Volleyball, Saints Basketball, and Prisons Volleyball, received sporting gear to enhance their activities.
During the event, Chief Officer Maina hinted at the upcoming Governor’s Cup tournament, assuring participating teams of exciting rewards across various sporting disciplines.

The initiative underscores Nakuru County’s commitment to supporting and developing local sports talent.
