Nakuru County Deputy Governor H.E David Kones, leading a team from the county government, offered condolences on behalf of Governor Susan Kihika to the family of the late Mama Monica Wangu Wamwere. The condolences were conveyed during a church service for the former Assistant Minister Koigi Wa Wamwere at St. Monica Section 58.

During the funeral service, Deputy Governor Kones praised Mama Monica for her resilience and emphasized her significant role in supporting Koigi Wamwere, contributing to his achievements in leadership. Kones highlighted the impactful influence that mothers have on their children’s lives through prayer and encouragement.

He encouraged Kenyans to draw inspiration from Mama Monica’s exemplary life and strive to leave positive legacies. Kones assured the family of the county government’s support and conveyed Governor Susan Kihika’s high regard for Koigi Wamwere.

The Deputy Governor was accompanied by Chief of Staff Dr. Peter Kityenya, Trade Executive Member Stephen Kuria, Francis Njoroge from the office of the governor, and former Kabete MP Paul Muite. The county government’s expression of condolences reflects its commitment to supporting and empathizing with the community during times of loss.
