The comprehensive distribution of instructional materials to support Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centers in Nakuru County has successfully concluded in Molo, Rongai, and Naivasha Sub-Counties. Njoro and Gilgil Sub-Counties had previously received their packages.
This concerted effort ensures that all public ECDE centers in Nakuru County now have access to essential learning materials across various activity areas. These materials encompass languages, mathematics, environmental activities, and nutrition, and have now been expanded to include psychomotor and creative arts, as well as religious education.
The distribution of these learning materials is part of a broader initiative aimed at enhancing the quality of education for young learners in Nakuru County. The materials are thoughtfully designed to meet the specific needs of young children and are aligned with the current Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC) guidelines.
Under the leadership of Governor Susan Kihika’s administration, a commitment has been made to provide additional instructional materials throughout the current financial year. This dedication ensures that ECDE centers across the county maintain a balanced ratio of materials, enabling young learners to receive the best possible foundation for their educational journeys.
