County Government of Nakury has supplied 7.6 kilometers of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) water pipes to the Tayari water project located in Molo ward, Molo Sub-County. This initiative is set to transform the lives of over 2,000 residents in Tayari and Tombo farms, who will now have reliable access to safe and clean drinking water for both domestic use and livestock.

For years, the residents of these areas have faced challenges in securing adequate water supply, often relying on water springs and seasonal rivers that can be unreliable and unsafe. The introduction of this new water infrastructure is a welcome relief, ensuring that families can access this precious resource without the daily struggles they previously endured.

This development is part of a broader initiative that includes solarization works completed earlier at the project site. The integration of solar energy not only enhances the efficiency of water distribution but also aligns with the ambitious plans set forth by His Excellency Governor Susan Kihika. Her commitment to providing safe, clean, and efficient water to the residents of Nakuru County is evident in this project, which aims to improve the quality of life for many.

As Nakuru County continues to invest in infrastructure, the Tayari water project stands as a testament to the power of community-focused initiatives and the ongoing efforts to uplift the lives of its residents.
