Nakuru County Executive Member for Agriculture, Leonard Bor, teamed up with Agriculture Cabinet Secretary, Mithika Linturi, to inaugurate the 20th Naivasha Horticultural Fair in Naivasha Sub-county. Recognized as the largest horticultural show in Africa, this event serves as a premier platform for stakeholders to showcase their products and services, underlining its significance in driving economic growth.
The horticultural sector stands as one of the largest foreign-income earners and leading employers in Kenya, with export earnings exceeding Sh 147 billion and a substantial quantity of 391.4 Metric tonnes. The Naivasha Horticultural Fair has become a pivotal annual event, contributing not only to the growth of the industry but also creating valuable employment opportunities for the local community.
