The Department of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance demonstrated swift response and support in the aftermath of a fire incident in Bahati Sub-county. A family, having lost their home and means of livelihood, received assistance from the department led by disaster officer John Muchai.
The disaster management team provided essential items such as iron sheets, mattresses, blankets, and food supplies to aid and support the affected family during this challenging time. The response not only addresses immediate needs but also offers a measure of comfort to those grappling with the loss.
Bahati MCA Grace Mwatha, along with local community members, were also present, extending their support to the affected family. This collaborative effort reflects the county’s commitment to standing by its residents during times of crisis and working towards recovery and rehabilitation.
