Performance contracting plays a pivotal role in the implementation of Nakuru County Government’s policies, programs, and projects, aligning with the county’s functions and mandate. In pursuit of her transformative agenda to enhance accountability and productivity in service delivery, Governor Susan Kihika recently signed performance contracts with all members of her Executive Cabinet.
The County’s Department of Health Services has taken a significant step in cascading the performance contract signing, which includes the Chief Officers and Directors of Health Services. Jacqueline Osoro, the County Executive for Health, led the signing ceremony, highlighting that this initiative is designed to ensure the health system operates effectively and efficiently. This, in turn, will lead to the delivery of quality services to the people of Nakuru, fulfilling the promises made by H.E. Governor Susan Kihika.
The event was attended by members of the County Health Management Team, reinforcing the county’s commitment to improving healthcare services and accountability.
