Nakuru County Deputy Governor H.E David Kones led a delegation from the county government to extend heartfelt condolences, on behalf of Governor Susan Kihika, to the family of the late Joseph Kipkorir Kimetto. The solemn occasion took place during the funeral service in Lengenet, Visoi Ward, Rongai Sub-county.
Deputy Governor Kones paid tribute to the late Kimetto, the inaugural principal of Kabarak High School, describing him as a dedicated and hardworking individual. He acknowledged Kimetto’s significant impact, especially in the field of education, and urged the family to preserve his legacy as a role model to many.
Joseph Kipkorir Kimetto served as the principal of Kabarak High School from 1979 to 1986. Under his visionary leadership, the school gained a reputation for academic excellence, evolving into one of the top educational institutions in the country. The funeral service was attended by numerous former students, including leaders and professors, who came to pay their respects and honor the contributions of the late principal.
