The Department of Infrastructure inspected the ongoing Nyamarutu-KITI drainage system works in Menengai Ward, Nakuru East Sub-County.
The 600-meter line drain, starting behind St. Anne’s Montessori and extending to Highway Driving School, aims to mitigate water overflow from Milimani. Excavation of the side drain and levelling works have commenced to determine ground elevation, ensuring a level surface for the road.
The project includes the installation of 110-meter culverts to safely channel water under or around the roadway.
