Nakuru County’s commitment to supporting farmers was underscored as Agriculture Chief Officer Newton Mwaura led an inspection of the delivery of 560 bags of subsidised fertiliser. The delivery took place at the Mutingati Farmers Cooperative Society in Bahati Sub-County.

This initiative aligns with the county’s promise to empower farmers by providing easy access to subsidised fertiliser, especially during the short rainy season. The program aims to ease the financial burden on farmers by ensuring the availability of affordable fertiliser on time.

Bahati Ward MCA Hon. Grace Mwathi, Chairman Peter Wanyeki of the Mutingati Farmers Cooperative Society, and other county officials accompanied the Chief Officer. The delivery of subsidised fertiliser is a practical step toward supporting local farmers and enhancing agricultural productivity in Nakuru County.
