The Subukia Sub County Hospital’s Inpatient and Outpatient Complex project has made significant progress, with completion now at 45 percent since its inception earlier this year.
The construction work is moving swiftly, with blocks A and B already at 80 percent completion, with the contractor assuring stakeholders that the project will be completed on schedule.
In view of fast-tracking the progress, the project implementation committee, led by County Health Infrastructure Coordinator Gerald Maina, and Engineers from public works have conducted an extensive site inspection. The team also included the Subukia Sub-county Hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr. Edward Kamau, members of the Hospital Management Committee, and a representative of the area Member of the County Assembly.
Residents of Subukia have high hopes for the facility since the fast-moving construction presents the prospect of an upgraded service experience at the hospital.
