Renovation work at Molo Sub-County Hospital is nearing completion, with the contractor making steady progress toward upgrading key facilities. The newly renovated kitchen will significantly enhance service delivery at the busy Level 4 hospital, providing a more efficient environment for the preparation of safe and nutritious meals for inpatients. The hospital, which serves a high volume of patients, is expected to benefit from this improved infrastructure.
Alongside the kitchen upgrade, new covered walkways are being constructed, linking various sections of the hospital, including the wards, kitchen, and morgue. These walkways will not only improve the aesthetic appeal of the hospital but will also ensure safe and accessible routes for staff, patients, and visitors, particularly those with disabilities or mobility challenges.
The project is part of Governor Susan Kihika’s Rapid Results Initiative, aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure across Nakuru County. This initiative focuses on improving healthcare services by upgrading facilities, making them safer and more accessible for residents. Governor Kihika has committed to delivering projects that will boost the quality of care in hospitals throughout the county.
The renovations at Molo Sub-County Hospital underscore the county’s dedication to improving public health infrastructure and ensuring better service delivery to Nakuru residents.
