Senator Susan Kihika has today congratulated the teachers, parents and students of Elburgon Secondary school for having emerged top in 2017 KCSE exams.
The senator was speaking during a fundraiser held at the school towards the construction of a dormitory in the school.
“It’s amazing that even without sophisticated infrastructure, this humble school emerged top in this county,” said the senator.
Senator Kihika also took the opportunity to beseech the Deputy President, William Ruto, who was the chief guest to assist in finding a lasting solution for jobs lost due to the closure of Timsales and the logging ban.
On his part, the DP has promised that a solution will soon be found.
