In a significant step towards improving water access, over 700 residents of Maiella Ward in Naivasha Sub County will soon benefit from the ongoing Ssero water project. The initiative involves the installation of 1.2km of 90mm and 63mm High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, coupled with the deployment of solar panels to ensure a consistent supply of clean and safe water.
Upon completion, the Ssero water project will serve multiple areas, including Kongoni, the Chief’s office, Moi Ndabi Dispensary, and other surrounding regions. This effort aligns with the commitment of the administration under H.E Governor Susan Kihika to enhance water provision throughout Nakuru County, with various projects either underway or already completed. The initiative reflects the county’s dedication to improving the overall well-being and quality of life of its residents through essential infrastructure development.
